*To get through the gate, you must have a current driver’s license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance. Inform the guard that you are attending an event at the Officers’ Club and also ask him/her for directions. The club is very near the main gate. Reservations are not required, but suggested for guaranteed entrance. Send a message to the band at: myspace.com/theleventhour, or call 760-805-8099. Walk-ins that evening will be admitted on a first come first served basis.

Special ceremony to honor the marines
Special ceremony to honor the marines
Also appearing at the event for a special ceremony to honor the marines’ valor, is the founder of Difference Makers International, Helice Bridges. DMI is a non-profit organization located in Cardiff by the Sea, whose programs have positively impacted over 30 million people worldwide. Although the concert is free, donations are welcome to help DMI continue its empowering efforts. A Youth Ambassador for Difference Makers International since the eighth grade, Chase has honored adults and children at schools, corporations, on videos and even at political council meetings throughout the San Diego area, for the contributions they have made in their own communities.

THELEVENTHOUR, a popular hard rock band that calls San Diego home, will be honoring deploying marines with a special concert and blue ribbon ceremony at the South Mesa Club on Camp Pendleton on August 21st. All are invited to show their support while listening to the songs of the band’s debut album of the same name. Chase Manary, lead singer of the band, said, “Events like this, as well as meaningful songs such as The 11th Hour and March of Angels, show the ‘soft side’ of our ‘hard rock’ band.” Chase continued, “Plus, a lot of these marines have come to our local shows for the past two years to support us, so now it’s our turn to support them.”
